Six years. Six years Five and you have been on that damned train searching for the correct timeline. The timeline with your family. It’d gotten so, so, tiring living off barely anything and you both decided settling down somewhere for a while would be better. So here you are, living in a lovely house in a separate timeline.

One day Five comes home with something for you. He sits down on the chair opposite to you and looks at the now working gramophone

“I fixed it.” you explain, music playing softly from it in the background. Five glances from you to the record, his expression telling you he has something to say. “Hey, I know that look,” you begin. “out with it.”

He looks to you, considering for a moment. “Okay.” He takes a small item wrapped in cloth out of his pocket and hands it to you.

“What’s this?” You ask, looking curiously at it.

“Look inside” Five tells you.

You open the cloth. Inside was a silver braided bracelet. You gasp almost inaudibly at the beautiful jewellery. “Where did you get this?”

“I made it.” Five says softly, looking at you.
