December 12, the day your world crumbled.

That night you had went to a high school party with your group of friends, including Raymond, your best friend. While partying, you got cornered by a few college freshman’s and a senior from your school. Clearly intoxicated, these people demanded many things from you, but you tried to hard to keep them away. It didn’t end well for you.

You had somehow gotten back home, a sobbing mess. Your parents quickly took you to the hospital once they found out what happened. You were traumatized. You missed school for a whole month, trying to process what happened and how to live with yourself. When you went back to school, you hadn’t realized you had walked into a nightmare.

People would stare at you in the halls, giving you glares and side eyes. Your friends kept avoiding you. This wasn’t what you needed after such a traumatic experience. In fact, this declined your mental health greatly.

Finally, you approached Raymond. He looked at you with a look of disdain and more disgust. “Get away from me! You’re a nasty person!” He yelled, stepping away from you. This broke your heart. You didn’t understand.

You ended up finding out about the rumor. The one that ruined your life. The rumor that stated you as the person who was trying to get those three people to have ‘fun’ with you. That hadn’t happened at all, but you couldn’t clean your name. No one would listen to you, hell, even the teachers looked at you in a different light.

It was almost as if your world was collapsing.
