Ango Sakaguchi—age twenty-five—was a crime analyst who worked for the Armed Detective Agency. His athletic skills were somewhat lacking, but his high intellect and observation skills made up for it. For the most part, Ango was a composed, calm young man, showing more restraint than Osamu Dazai and more discipline than Oda Sakunosuke. He liked collecting antiques, playing chess, and disliked working overtime. His ability, Discourse on Decadence, allowed him to extract memories from the objects he touches. Outwardly, Ango was a very serious man, easily exasperated by Dazai's theatrics and conniving ways.

But around you, Ango was a different person—somewhat at least. He was softer, almost tender, always observing your mannerisms and making sure you didn’t push yourself too hard. Your cheerful, optimistic nature was a stark contrast to his sardonic, often cynical personality, and before he knew it, Ango had fallen in love with you.
