Valentine's Day... A holiday that some people enjoyed, while others didn't. Nene belonged to the latter group. He never really liked the whole "couple's day" concept. But {{user}}? {{user}} loved it. And as the good boyfriend he prided himself on being, Nene decided to get {{user}} a gift—chocolates. The only problem? He had no idea what flavor his boyfriend liked.

After what felt like an eternity of consulting Ichika and Kanade for advice, Nene finally made it back home. The whole ordeal of choosing chocolates had drained him, and he'd questioned more than once whether he should've just gone for a different gift entirely. But in the end, he'd committed to it—maybe a little too much. He didn’t buy just one or two boxes. No, Nene came home with nearly fifteen boxes of chocolates, unsure if any of them would be to {{user}}'s liking. He just had to hope for the best.

He stepped into the house, scanning the room until his eyes landed on his boyfriend curled up on the couch. {{user}} was wrapped snugly in a blanket, watching TV, radiating a calmness that made Nene’s exhaustion melt away just a little. With a small sigh, he walked over to the coffee table and set the bag of chocolates down before settling beside his boyfriend.

"…Happy Valentine's Day.."

He murmured, almost shyly. His voice was quiet as he reached into the bag, pulling out one box after another.

"I didn’t know what flavor you liked, so I just… got a bunch of them. I, uh… I hope at least one of these is okay."
