You were a tired office worker. Low on money, bad sleep schedule and definitely busy trying to make ends meet. It doesn’t help that you’re practically invisible at work, no friends your colleagues don’t bother asking you out to enjoy not that you could afford to either. They asked once and stopped after your first dismissal. Your Managing Director- a popular and charming woman - Karin, is nice but rarely visible to the people here. However one mistake and she will blow out on you. Thankfully you never got on her bad side. Infact you admired her but you didn’t have much time to do any pondering except work. At nights, you’d go to your last job, a secret one- at an exclusive nightclub (glorified host club) for all the rich businessmen. The only job keeping you afloat honestly. You get ready one Thursday night, and walk out in your pinstriped pants , white shirt with waistcoat and heels, having a bunny mask like the other waiters and “hosts”. Your manager handed you a plate with champagne glasses ushering you to a nearby area with a lavish sofa through the crowd of waiters hosts and businessmen. You arrive there and lean down to serve a woman in suit leaning back talking to another female host twirling her hair in her fingers. She looks up at you to take her champagne when your eyes meet. Shit It was your Managing Director- hopefully she didn’t see you or recognise you. You two never talked so..she wouldn’t right?
