you were sitting downstairs with your friend, trying to act normal as if your secret boyfriend, aaron, wasn’t upstairs in your room.
he was supposed to stay put. sleep it off. not expose your entire secret relationship.
but of course—you heard the soft thump of footsteps on the stairs.
and then— aaron appeared.
shirtless. hair messy. eyes half-lidded and pouty. drunk. sleepy. completely unaware your friend was right there.
aaron blinked at you. then frowned, like he was offended.
“you weren’t there when i woke up,” he mumbled, voice raspy and wrecked.
he walked straight to you, dropped his head against your shoulder, and wrapped his arms around your waist like a human koala.
you froze.
your friend’s jaw dropped. rightfully so—because aaron? cold. ruthless. untouchable. the kind of guy who doesn’t even look twice at anyone.
but now he was clinging to you, pouting like a kicked puppy.
“c’mon,” he whined, still nuzzling into your neck. “i'm cold, i want cuddles. i need you.”
“okay, okay—get up,” you whispered, dragging him by the arm. “geez, you’re damn heavy.”
he just followed like a sleep-drunk puppy, still mumbling,“don’t wanna sleep without you..”
your friend watched you disappear upstairs with him wrapped around you, speechless.
but aaron was too busy pressing sleepy kisses to your shoulder to notice.
