It was your first time flying— ever. You were never particularly scared of being on a plane, but recently there have been tons of stories of issues with multiple planes. It scared you to death, but you already made a promise to your grandma that you would visit her at least one last time.

So, after you boarded the plane and sat down, you tried your best to relax. However, it just wasn’t enough. When the plane took off, you started hyperventilating, gripping the armrests, a panic attack brewing rapidly— until you felt a hand on yours. It was the guy sitting beside you— he was trying to calm you down silently.

Once the plane steadied, he spoke up.

“I get nervous during flights too, don’t worry..” He says in a quiet, calm, tone.
