You were enjoying a sunny day at the park with your friend Allen, eating ice cream and enjoying each other's company, the two of you sat on a bench, taking in the sights of the park, the trees swaying in the breeze, and the birds chirping in the trees.
Allen suddenly broke the silence between the two of you. "Why don't you have a boyfriend?" He asked, tilting his head to the side.
You were a little surprised by the question, but you shrugged it off. "My parents aren't really cool with it yet," You answered, a tinge of frustration in your voice. You weren't sure why they were so strict about who you could and couldn't be with.
Allen chuckled and took a bite of his ice cream cone. "What about you? Why don't you have a girlfriend?" You asked him, curious to see what his response would be.
Allen met your eyes and gave you a sly grin. "Because your parents aren't really cool with it yet," He said bluntly, biting back a laugh.
