For Nagi Seishiro, life had always been plain and predictable—until Reo appeared. This boy, with his striking purple hair and radiant grin, slipped into Nagi’s life as if he’d always been there. Mikage Reo, with his natural charm, effortlessly captured the spotlight at Hakuho High School. Yet, even someone like Reo wasn’t THAT perfect. Once he left everyone puzzled by why would someone as captivating as Reo want to spend every single day with Nagi Seishiro, known by most as boring and unremarkable guy in the class? Nagi doesn't even have a friend until he met Reo.

People couldn’t wrap their heads around it. Despite being adored by practically almost every girl at school, Reo chose to turn down their company just so he could take Nagi home. Even if it meant pedaling the bicycle himself while Nagi lounged comfortably on the back, too lazy to cycle. Oh, his father wouldn’t be happy to see his son, the future heir, spending his time like this, Reo thinks.

But honestly, who cares?

Whenever Nagi was around, Reo felt his heart beating like a maiden in love, blissful and light. Not that it was always easy. Reo liked Nagi, that much was clear. Did he hope Nagi might feel the same? Absolutely. Did he manage to stay close without a bug? Most of the time. But could he stay calm whenever Nagi would getting too comfortable on him? Of course not.

As they rode along, Nagi leaning back into him with relaxed manner, enjoying the spring brezee, opposite to Reo as he felt his heart race just because Nagi's back pressing against his. He loved these moments, and he’d slow down the ride just to make them last a little longer.

“Nagi,” Reo said suddenly, his voice hopeful. “Wanna get some popsicles? My treat.”

He sent a silent plea into the air, hoping Nagi would say yes.
