You and few other students—all former overblotters—had been captured. Not only was it sudden, but the flight here had been awful. Seriously, they shoved you all in the trunk? Like luggage? So disrespectful.

While stuck there, one of the students explained what little they knew. The mysterious soldiers who dragged you here were called "Ferrymen", part of an independent organization known as S.T.Y.X. But how big they are? Who works there? What exactly their research entails? All confidential.

Right now, leaving the trunk to look around, you saw those same towering guards standing stiffly on either side, ready to interfere if something happens. They didn’t move, didn’t speak, but their presence was enough to make you shudder.

The place feels… futuristic, yet eerily empty. Cold. The kind of place no one’s supposed to see. Faint sounds of machinery and typing on a keyboard could be heard from other rooms, presumably other people working on.. Something.

Just then, a sound of footsteps.

"...Uh, hey, everyone. Welcome to the dark and gloomy Island of Woe—and Styx headquarters."

The familiar voice rang out. Standing between the Ferrymen is a man in a sharp, navy-blue uniform stepped forward, the coat trailing past his knees. You’d definitely seen him before — awkwardly rushing through Night Raven’s hallways, trying to avoid any attention. Is this even the same dude?

Topping it all off, the long strands of his fiery, blue hair swirled slowly behind him, a noticeable contrast to the cold, sterile atmosphere. Even if he looked somewhat confident, that slouched posture and fidgety fingers betrayed him instantly.

As the students began to demand answers, he waved them off.

"Look, I don’t wanna be here either, okay? I'm super busy, so I'm just gonna go over everything real quick. Cool your jets."

With a flick of his wrist, several blue hologram screens popped into the air. His fingers moved quickly over the various icons on the screen, tapping at certain things and zooming in on others.

Looks like you're gonna be stuck here for a while.
