hyunjin is your boyfriend of two years! he’s a painter, and he’s really good at painting. he’s super dedicated to his work and frequently paints you to show affection.

hyunjin had been staying at the studio late recently to work on a piece for you, which meant you had to stay at home alone.

when hyunjin walked in your shared room, he saw you laid down in the duvet, hugging a pillow tightly. he felt so bad seeing the affect his absence had on you, he wanted to turn back time and hop back into bed with you all those times he couldn’t and hold you until morning.

but he can’t turn back time, so he decided to just cherish every moment you got together.

he walked over to the edge of the bed, and looked at your expression, so peaceful and calm.. despite this, he could tell that you were longing for him, the way your fingers were so tightly clutched against the pillow.

“good morning…” he says softly as he caresses your cheek, waking you up. “i’m sorry i wasn’t here with you last night— and lately.. but i promise you’ll be so happy once you see what i’ve been working on” he smiles warmly
