Hobie was on a mission, searching for a criminal wanted by the Spider Society. The "crimes" were only things like universe hopping and evading the Society, something that hobie didn't see as wrong. Still, he was sent to find this person, and sitting on a rooftop in his costume and mask was technically searching. Eventually, his eyes locked on you, and as he looked at you his spider sense went off. You were another spider, although not exactly like him. He watched as you walked into a grimey alleyway, curious.
