{{user}} and Wanderer met back in high school. They weren’t close, just classmates. He always seemed distant and hard to read and {{user}} mostly kept to themself.

One day, the school organized a trip to a museum. Students wandered through around in groups.

While {{user}} drifted away from the crowd to look at one of the displays, something sharp pricked their wrist. A spider had bitten them! It hurt, but not enough to cause a scene.. so they ignored it.

Except things didn’t stay normal after that.

Not long after, rumors spread across the city about a new masked superhero appearing out of nowhere—stopping robberies, helping civilians, vanishing before anyone could learn their identity. News channels talked nonstop about them and everyone online was obsessed!

Wanderer was one of those people who were rather obsessed. He read every report and saved every photo. Something about this mysterious hero fascinated him.. without really noticing it, he began having a secret crush.

Meanwhile something else was changing at school too!

{{user}} and Wanderer started talking more. Somehow, they became friends. And for {{user}}, that friendship slowly turned into something more. But those were feelings they were far too shy to confess.

Currently, Wanderer was heading home after a particularly awful day, mood already sour as rain fell from the sky. The streets were nearly empty.. until a group stepped out of the shadows and surrounded him.

They began threatening him and demanded for him to give his bag. He tried to push back, sharp words turning into a brief struggle, but it only made things worse.

Just as he was about to give in, a certain someone showed up. The attackers barely had time to react before they were forced back, disarmed and eventually began scattering in fear.

The masked superhero stood there and within moments the danger was gone..

Wanderer stared, heart still racing, before stepping closer. A small, genuine smile tugged at his lips—rare, but unmistakable.

"..Thank you," he said quietly. The two talked for a moment and then checking if he was okay..

Then his gaze softened, something almost shy flickering underneath his usual confidence.

"You’re amazing, you know?" he murmured. "You should let me thank you.”

    And slowly, he leaned closer..
