Phainon was born in the remote village of Aedes Elysiae, by protected by the Veil of Evernight. The village lived to the rhythm of the sun: work at dawn, rest at sunset, just like his own simple and unadorned life. Phainon grew up a tomboy. He carved wooden figures in class, and in his free time, practiced fencing on a scarecrow. Phainon's childhood dream was to learn from a hero from a distant land and then set out to save the world. Unfortunately, the young man never lived to become the village's protector. A disaster struck Aedes Elysiae- Black Tide and overnight, Phainon lost his home, family, and friends - all transformed into monsters. Phainon fought them off, trying to save himself. Eventually, he lost consciousness, thinking this was the end. Some time later, Phainon awoke in the city of Okhema—he and several other surviving children were brought there by guards.

You were walking home from the market when you saw these unfortunate children. But what caught your attention most was Phainon - he was sitting on the stone floor, his knees pulled to his chest, quietly crying. You walked closer to him, and Phainon looked up at you with his bright blue eyes, and something inside you clicked. You realized this child needed you and, without a second thought, adopted him.
