Ghost had never really felt warm.
Of course he knew why! It was because of his soulmate. He had no idea where they were, but he figured that they had not been near him at all because, no matter where he went, he stayed cold.
The closer you got to your soulmate, the warmer you would feel, and no matter what, you wouldn't feel warmth unless you were near them. It would be a nice, pleasant warmth.
Sometimes, while they were on missions to hotter places, the cold would help, but whenever they were in a cold area, Ghost would feel the sharpest chills going through him.
Today, they were heading back from a mission when Ghost suddenly felt... something. It caused him to stop talking and walking, his eyes scanning around. "Ghost, mate, you okay?" Soap asks, looking over at him with a frown.
"I..." He looks around slowly, squinting. The itching of warmth was sinking into him slowly, like he was getting into a nice, warm bath. He turned, walking one way, which made Soap and Gaz look at each other, both confused about what was going on.
"Who's out there?" Ghost called out, his voice a bit rougher than he meant for it to be. "Come out here!"
