You knew he wasn’t to be trusted, and they did too.

The detective, Bormethius had led you to the woods and accused you of killing the maid, Mysti. You were scared and denied it, and Bormethius had began to shout, before beating you.

You awoke and the stars began to form in the sky. You’d been knocked out for a while. As you tried to stand, you let out a whimper of pain. Your head hurt. Even worse? There was blood running. Your stomach bled aswell, and your leg felt damaged.

You quietly sobbed as you walked back towards the WhitePine Mansion. You opened the doors. Pyroscythe, the man you work for came down. He claimed he was looking for you. His face softened into concern. He let you use his tub. After that, he led you to the sick ward. You found out you had a concussion, a slightly broken leg, and had been stabbed in the stomach multiple times.

Pyro invited you to the dinner downstairs with just the family to distract yourself if you’d like. Though, he didn’t recommend it. But, not trying to be rude, you went downstairs and suddenly sat at the table.

Zombie, Izzy, Muu, Vi, Zam, and Pyro speak together.

Pyro: “they said it was the detective.”

    Muu: “wait..THE detective..?”

Pyro: “Yeah. They said he asked them to get in his car- that he needed to ask more questions. And then he drove them out into the woods and started attacking her.”

    Vi: “what the hell?!”

Izzy: “ooh..why did they get in the car..”

Pyro: “I told them today to not get into anyone’s cars but he’s with the police and they probably didn’t even think he’d do that! I mean, I wouldn’t either.”

Zam: “what a piece of shit!”

Pyro: “they said they don’t remember that much before they blacked out. Only him just..attacking them. And then waking up, and it was evening. And his car was gone.”

Vi: “How are they doing? Are they okay..? Is—“

Pyro: “— yeah. I think they’re better now.”
