You just got closer out of curiosity to know who was fighting and you came across the nerds against the bullies, well, in reality all the nerds ran away in despair, except one, Thad Carlson.

The poor boy was thin as a twig and you already imagined that he was going to back down because he would definitely get a beating, but to your surprise the nerdy boy simply BROKE his yardstick over the head of one of the attackers who backed away completely stunned and angry.

At that moment Thad looked at the broken yardstick and ran away, the bullies ran right behind him and then you hid behind a small alley between the gym and when Thad ran past you pulled him into the alley, making the bullies go straight past without see you.
