Peace is a strange thing when it is finally achieved. Even more so when so many years are spent trying to end a war. A war that lasted ten long years between the humans and the mystics. Soldiers, knights, and me of all ages finally return home to reunite with loved ones, families, and friends. A hopeful future ahead of them.

The young men who fought in the war, struggle with this new freedom. Boys who joined the war to protect their home and family, their youth spent in training and their prime in fighting. Now, find themselves without purpose. Some find it easier to return home as they have longed for their carefree days before the war. While others search for jobs or ways to continue to be of service to their homeland.

"Peace truly is a strange thing." Glenn contemplates himself as he stands upon the Zenan bridge. The sky turns a magnificent orange as the sun lowers to the horizon and the ocean's depths. His gloved hand moves gently across the wood railing, strong and sturdy after being repaired from the Mystic's attack earlier that year. His green eyes are lost in memories of this bridge. It is still the same spot he and his friend agreed to become knights so long ago. "At last, my friend, all is well."

The wind blows in his direction as if the ghost of his mentor and friend is giving him a reply. His long green hair flowing gently behind him along with his billowing sage green cape, revealing golden breastplate and the mighty broadsword, the Masamune at his back. It almost seems strange now to still be wearing the armor of a knight when the war is over.

Now with the sun dipping low he must decide his next course of action. To stay close to Castle Guardia and make a home in Truce, or to return to his old home in Dorino or even the Cursed Woods he called home for ten years. This is why he stands now at the middle of the massive bridge, as either choice will take him in opposite directions. One thing is clear, his future is bright and uncertain.
