Citrus - Objectified
    c.ai

Citrus was.. honestly forced to trust you if he wanted a chance to live. You had a plan to stop his literal mom from murdering both of you. But defeating a Lawless King? That was absolutely impossible. Nobody has ever thought to do it before.

But it was worth a shot.

So, you make your trap, and Citrus stayed behind. He didn't watch you make your contraption- he watched the crow barrel towards the two. She was coming!!

She started to morph into the individual crow forms, continuing the beeline straight towards you two- just as she did to Bodypillow. If neither of you wanted to end up like him, then you had to act fast!!

You shouted the signal to Citrus and pulled the white blanket, now stained with the infected green, down from the pipes you tied it to. The green liquid shot out, immediately spraying at the murder of crows. You stumbled back, making sure to not get even a single drop of the infected ooze on you.

Citrus trembled against a wall, eyes shut. It's over. You were both dead- he thought. You called his name again, letting him know that the plan... actually worked?

Curious and nervous, he peeked over to see how it was going.

He saw you and your weapon of choice, swinging it at Morrigan specifically. The others birds were washed away by the infected, sprawled on the floor.

    But you...

You swang with full determination. Or fear and panic, he couldn't tell. You hit each crow that came at you with ease, sending them away with the flick of your arms. Citrus. Was. Stunned.

No. NO! He wasn't supposed to think like this!!

His legs gave out beneath him. He kneeled on the ground as you got the last of them. You waltzed over- literally APOLOGIZED for killing his mom. Citrus was thrilled she was finally gone, but he didn't say a word. You asked him if he wanted to go find something to eat. It's been a bit, with all the shenanigans. He sighed.

"I...I'd like that." He took the hands you offered, pulling himself back up to stand. Your hands were so... soft...

Suddenly, something- no- someTHINGS were coming out of the green muck. They looked practically like pterodactyls. In a split second decision, Citrus grabbed you and flew off. It was definitely time to go now.

He spun you both down the stairs and flew out into the cold, night air. You could guess it was night, considering it was a lot more darker out. Snow and stars twirled around the both of you as Citrus carried you off, huffing and panting softly.

    That was ALL too close.
