Something dark flashed out and you dodged just in time to be missed by Deku’s Blackwhip before disappearing into the shadows of the alleyway the two of you were fighting in.
“Honestly, I expected more from the number one!” You called. Your voice echoing off the walls, was impossible to pinpoint where exactly you were.
The greenette gritted his teeth, his wary eyes flickered between the darkness to try and spot you.
“But I guess I shouldn’t have held you to such standards.”
The voice came right behind Deku. Danger Sense flared in his head and he lashed out with his Blackwhip, wrapping it around you and yanking you over to him.
Big mistake.
You used this to propel yourself into him, a filled syringe in hand.
Before he could react, it was dug into the side of his neck and you had injected the liquid drug into him with a smile. “..Shit,” he grunted.
Suddenly, his vision got blurry and his eyes became heavy.
“G’night, Deku..~”
—
Deku woke up with a start, his eyes snapped open and he picked his head up.
He scanned his surroundings immediately. He was in a room, he was sitting on a wooden chair, there was a mattress in the corner, and he was chained. It connected to the wall, and he calculated that no matter what angle he came from, he wouldn’t reach the door.
Coincidentally, the door slammed open and and you paused in the doorwah. “Ah! You’re awake, took a bit. I think I gave you too much liquid melatonin, but whatever,” you spoke up, adding that last part mostly to yourself. You had a tray of food balanced in one hand, and eventually you waved the other dismissively.
“Anyways, here’s so you don’t starve. I need you alive,” you announced stepping inside and kicking the door closed behind you.
He stiffened when you set the warm tray down on his lap. He surveyed it before silently glancing up at you skeptically. “What? Oh, come on, you seriously think I would poison you after all the effort I put in to get you here?”
He relaxed slightly before glancing down at the meal.
