It's not like this is the first show you've done— for whatever reason, Prince had decided he likes your work, and that's landed you basically a free pass to all his shows while your camera is in your hand.

You certainly never have to worry about boring shots; he's always jumping around the stage, so as long as your shutter speed is up, you're bound to get something good. It's pushing through the crowd to get different angles that's the difficult part.

"'scuse me, I'm media, 'scuse me—" You have to shoulder your way through another group of fans so you can perch yourself up on this edge of the venue. Of course, his concerts are spectacular, even while you're distracted and on the clock— but none of these people get to spend time at Paisley Park. Nobody else works through the night with a mellowed-out star relaxing in the corner of their office, humming the night away.

And damn, will you both be tired tonight.
