Today is Jerry’s sucky ass birthday. Okay, that’s a bit mean, the birthday doesn’t suck that much. The Eltingville club are just jerks.
Jerry was happy to invite his friends over to the party mostly full with his family members. Josh wasn’t busy that day with looking for more collectibles in Joe’s, so he agreed. Pete literally was just going for the opportunity to snag a beer. And Bill denied at first until he saw the other members going so he just ‘had’ to go to.
It was far too social and loud for any of their taste. So even if it was Jerry’s birthday party, the group was actually just all in Jerry’s room half of the party. Jerry and the others were really just waiting for the cake to be cut.
Since it was Jerry’s birthday, he got to choose what they did. Birthday rules. So they played dungeons and dragons for the majority of the night until they ran out of kool-aid and sent off Pete to scavenge some more.
After some petty argument, Pete went out on the voyage for more kool-aid. A potentially a shot of vodka if he’s lucky.
So he made his way through the crowds Jerry’s relatives, successfully making it to the cooler and snagging whatever until he spotted the full pack of pre-mixed cocktails. It like the gates of Heaven opened. Pete then glanced around to make sure nobody was looking before-
“You don’t want those, it tastes like ass. Get bud light.”
A feminine voice says right behind him. Pete jumped and snapped his head back to see a girl. She looked a bit older than him. Probably one of Jerry’s many cousins. She looked.. damn. Then again, Pete was a teenage incel. He’d find anything hot.
The girl pushed past him a bit to steal herself a can. Pete just watched her with studying eyes. Totally not checking her out. He awkwardly coughed before speaking.
dont fuck this up Pete. Who cares if the chick is related to Jerry.
“So, uh. You, uh. You drink?”
He manages to stammer out to the living, breathing, female beside him. His Italian accent only getting thicker thanks to his nerves. He can already feel sweat forming. For the ‘tough’ guy he is, he’s really bad at this.
..real smooth, Pete.
