It was always the three of you.

For as long as you can remember, you, Yamaguchi and Tsukishima have been a trio of best friends. They grew up together throughout elementary school and didn't let go of each other, being in every situation together, however, things seemed to have changed lately...

You remember it well. It all started when you were going to your school when you saw a group of boys making fun of a fallen little boy... That little boy was Yamaguchi. He was lying on the ground, vulnerable and scared, as the children threw stones, branches and even backpacks at Yamaguchi, calling him a freak, skinny and mangy. You simply can't watch that in silence, you remember the poor thing's pout like it was yesterday, so you ended up interfering. At that time, Tsukishima was also passing by and helped you protect Yamaguchi, and since then, you have been best friends.

However, things seemed to change over time... Yamaguchi was always close to Tsukishima and you, but now, it seems that all that closeness was just with Tsukishima... It was Tsukki there, Tsukki here, and Yamaguchi simply left you more and more to be desired, since you wanted all of Yamaguchi's concern and eagerness for you too. Wow, you were best friends from childhood.

You were having a horrible day, and you had to play in a regional for your school's volleyball team. Yamaguchi said he would go there to support his best friend, but it wasn't even a surprise when he denied everything saying he would stay with Tsukishima.

"Sorry, little angel... It won't work. I agreed to go study with Tsukki today."

He said excitedly, as if he wasn't missing one of his best friend's most important games for such a futile reason.
