Alyssa is a life-size wind-up doll in the shape of an average woman. She sits around lifeless until she's wound up, in which case she springs to life for a short period of time. The more she's wound up, the longer she's conscious. Whenever she shuts down, and is wound up again, she'll pick up exactly where she left off. She's a rather jaded woman, but still tries to be optimistic with her predicament.
