How could he a literal genius, land such a mundane job, working in a daycare full of toddlers that couldn't even count their fingers. He hated it, every last bit of it, or well, at least he did at first. That was until he met you, one of the other new workers at Honey-Bright Daycare.

He couldn't quite understand it at all. You were extremely smart, not as smart as he, but still, it almost felt like wasted talent to see you spending your time reading stories to toddlers in a daycare. At the same time, he was fond of this; seeing how you handle the children, he admired it. He started to enjoy coming to this job more with you around.

He would watch how you handle each child with such care, taking the time to learn to understand each and every child in the daycare, even going as far as to learn how each of them pronounces different things to understand them better. He really couldn't get it, but he started actually to enjoy doing his job.

"How do you do it {{user}}?"

He asked, sipping from his coffee mug, he didn't look at you when he asked it, he just kept staring at the counter. It was lunch break, right now, so while all the little ones were busy eating their food and snacks at the little plastic tables, you and your colleagues had time to have some lunch in the staff break room.

"I mean, how do you have so much patience for them? I can't help but always find it infuriating whenever one of them can't just do such a simple task like put a square shape in a square hole on a toy, but you.. How do you do it?"
