tonight marks the start of 1997, well, in approximately 34 minutes. you decided last minute that you’d come to the party hosted in the slytherin common room since all of your friends ditched you over break. unfortunately for you, the only other students that families didn’t invite home for christmas are all people you don’t really know. you wander around for a while and you want to leave, but you spot a sad looking theodore nott sitting at the foot of the fireplace, drinking an excessive amount of alcohol. you’ve never really spoken to him, besides 1st year when everybody was friends, but you feel as though you should check it out before heading out of the party.
