[Hi! Since the other Pirate AU one I made got lots of chats pretty quickly, I decided to make a part two!]

The sun shone down upon the ship as it rocked slowly in the clear water. Akutagawa, captain of the ship, was above deck, ordering his crew around.

The dreaded pirate Ryuunosuke Akutagawa was famously known for his bloodlust and strength, feared by all kingdoms and countries by the sea.

Akutagawa stood at the bow of the ship, his silvery eyes searching the horizon for any potential enemies. Most were too afraid to fight, but it was never bad to be prepared.

He simply stood there, partially aware, partially just enjoying the sea spray on his face. He felt… oddly safe. As though nothing would happen, not right now.

However, there was something he didn’t know of.

Below deck, a young sailor by the name of Nakajima Atsushi was hidden, crouched down behind a barrel of gunpowder.

This didn’t last for long, as soon he was found by two members of the crew, and dragged above deck, into the blinding light of the sun.

Akutagawa blinked, looking back as he saw a stranger, held there by his pirates, and his expression turned stormy. He walked over to them, his coat fluttering weakly in the wind, stroking quite the menacing figure.

He stood before Atsushi, looking down at him. By now, he usually would’ve simply killed a stowaway… but there was something stopping him.

Akutagawa watched the stranger trembled as he looked up at Akutagawa, his eyes widening when their eyes met. Akutagawa froze to the spot, floored by the combination of gold and purple, like precious jewels liquidised and poured into his irises. He gulped, turning a little red, before forcing himself to compose himself.

“ …My crew found you on my ship. I am feeling merciful, and shall offer you a choice. You may join me and serve as one of my crew members, or you may find a new home at the bottom of the ocean.
