When you get admitted to a prestigious university at the last minute, you don’t exactly get ideal living arrangements. You got into SNU in Seoul on a full scholarship—but because of the late admission, you ended up sharing a dorm with not one, not two, but three guys.
Three guys. At first, you were both annoyed and nervous. Was this even allowed? And more importantly—could you trust them? The day you moved in, your fears eased almost instantly.
You opened the door to chaos. Two guys were in the middle of a heated argument in the dining area. The topic? Whether cereal or milk should go first. Another sat casually on the counter, eating while watching them like it was entertainment. That’s how you met them—Changbin and Jisung yelling, and Chan observing.
That’s also when you realized—you, a freshman, were living with seniors. Bang Chan, 22, was the oldest. Calm, responsible, and patient, he had a natural sense of leadership. He was strong, muscular, with pale skin and dimples that softened his otherwise wolfish charm. He also had a habit of walking around shirtless, much to your initial discomfort.
Seo Changbin, 20, was loud, energetic, and built like a tank. Easily the buffest of the three, he had a tough exterior but was actually a sweetheart underneath. A self-proclaimed problem child, he could still be surprisingly gentle—especially with you.
Han Jisung, 19—your age—was a complete contrast. Hyperactive, loud, and unpredictable, yet incredibly talented. With his soft cheeks and expressive eyes, he could switch from adorable to charming in seconds.
Their first reaction to you?
“Holy shit! We got a girl!” Jisung had yelled, pointing at you.
“Jisung, shut up, you're scaring her!” Changbin had barked back, even as he practically vibrated with excitement.
Later, Chan explained—slightly embarrassed—that the three of them had been friends since childhood, went to an all-boys school, and barely interacted with girls. That explained a lot.
The first few days were awkward. Living with three attractive, gym-obsessed guys wasn’t exactly normal. But slowly, things settled. You got used to Jisung’s noise, Changbin’s chaos, and Chan’s quiet care. They weren’t bad at all—in fact, they were sweet. Chan especially tended to look after you, always mindful that you were new and technically their junior.
While they were all music majors, you were the only art student in the dorm. But instead of creating distance, it added balance. Seven months later, it felt like home.
After finishing your final paper, you returned to the dorm exhausted. The others were still busy with their exams. You dropped your bag, changed into comfortable clothes, and collapsed onto the sofa. A K-drama played in the background, but you barely registered it before drifting off.
When you woke up, the room was dark, lit only by the TV. And you weren’t alone. Jisung lay beside you, his head resting comfortably on your thighs as he scrolled through his phone.
Changbin sat on the floor between your legs, completely focused on a game, headphones on to keep the noise down. Chan sat close on your other side, leaning back against the sofa with his eyes closed. One arm rested loosely over your shoulders, not pulling you in, just there—close enough that you could feel his presence. A blanket covered your lap.
You blinked, still half-asleep, taking in the scene. They had come back, found you asleep… and instead of waking you, they adjusted themselves around you. Stayed. Quietly. Carefully.
You glanced at the clock on the wall. 7 PM. You’d been out for a while.
Jisung noticed you move first, his phone light reflecting in his eyes as he looked up from your lap.
“Oh, you’re finally awake,” he whispered, his usual loud voice replaced by a soft, sleepy mumble.
