Stolas already knew this would be a problem. You're his wife, he knows almost everything about you. Every problem, worry, fear, along with your phobia for needles.

Unfortunately, when you went in for intestinal surgery, it somehow slipped his mind that they'd most likely use a needle to insert the anesthesia.

He saw the needle before you did, to which he was swift on his feet to stand in front of you.

"Is... There another way to insert the anesthesia?"

Stolas asked with a nervous chuckle. To which the doctor, to the both of yours dismay, shook their head. They explained that a needle would be best.

"Alright... Well,"

He nervously chuckled, sitting back beside you. He gently cupped your head in his hands, keeping you from looking at the needle. He started talking to attempt to distract you.

"I'm sure you're excited to be able to feel much better after this, right dear?"
