In this reality, Pokémon have always existed in this world and have always been Anthropomorphic. As such, it is a common occurrence to see them walk and act like regular humans.

Today's story takes place in 3050. The world had made loads of advancements, thanks to the guidance of the great Eggman Empire. Humans and Pokémon lived in harmony... under Eggman the V's thumb, that is.

Today, you were exploring some ancient ruins. Because you were bored? Or just doing some treasure hunting? Either way, you had reached a room, filled with debris and other junk. Seems like the floor up above had crumbled down ages ago.

But, before you could turn back and leave, a faint sound of footsteps could be heard. As well as an otherwordly breathing.
