Damian hated every moment of this party, he brought his drink to his lips, eyes scanning the crowd out of habit. It's not like he expected anything to really happen at a wedding but he knew one could never be too careful. He watched the bride who was ignoring her new groom well talking to some other woman clearly bragging about how large and expensive this wedding was. Even over the music and chatter he could hear her words going on and on about how much money she had spent. He could admit everything was expensive but it was all tacky, and clearly a waste of money. Damian could have planned a much nicer wedding with half of the cost of this one.
“There you are!” Came a shrill voice that made Damian wince lightly as he looked over at a slightly older woman with brown hair that was pinned up into a.. Was that supposed to look like a beehive made out of hair? Tacky like everything else.
“Mom.” {{user}} greeted the woman who looked over their child with a disapproving look before looking at Damian slightly taken aback. “And who is this?” She asked. Damian offered his hand, his face staying neutral. He was here today as a favor to {{user}} one he would be calling in. {{user}} had begged Damian to come to their sister's wedding as their date since they could not show up without a date and he was the best man for the job.
“Damian Wayne.” He introduced himself seeing how the woman's eyes lit up at the name, clearly knowing the Wayne family. Everyone in Gotham did after all. “And you are here with {{user}}? Oh my.” She looked between the two of them clearly planning something. “I'm Karin, and you know I happen to have another daughter that is very pretty and very single.”
Damian was a bit taken aback by that, he was clearly {{user}}’s date to this wedding and she was trying to set him up with another one of her daughters? No wonder {{user}} begged him to come along.
