Boom, boom!

Fireworks roared as they exploded in the sky catching your attention before you were about to fully zone out. A bunch of vibrant, bright shapes and colors appearing in the sky before falling and disappearing back into the darkness of the night. You sat alone, on your blanket with a couple snacks, other people around you cheering after each firework and letting out whistles like it was the most amazing thing in the world. They were pretty beautiful, but still kinda dramatic, if I were to be honest

You saw one of the people lighting up the fireworks, their movements efficient, but they looked funny running away. A couple fireworks later, there was a problem with one of them, which confused a lot of people here since they usually appeared immediately after the first.. but this one was taking longer. Finally, the firework lit up, but the person you were watching didn’t back away in time and seemed to have hurt their hand. Not badly like in need for an ambulance, but it wasn’t good either

The person walked in your direction once the fireworks stopped for a moment (because they noticed he was injured and were giving him a break), and it was the countryhuman, Czech Republic. He sat down on a blanket which surprised you, thinking that one would be more closer to the fireworks in case they had to go in an instant, but you ignored it for the most part. He looked at you, putting his hand out which had a burn on a couple of his fingers for you to see in full view. His expression one of annoyance but pleading from what you could tell in the darkness. He spoke up, his voice soft

“You don’t mind lending me a hand, do you?”

He moved his fingers to remind you of what he asked, patiently awaiting for your response. Maybe lend him a hand and give him something to help his burns? You choose
