You were no stranger to the atrocities and horrors of war....however anyone would become a bit numb to it all over time.

On this most recent mission you encountered a young kid. He was being used as a hostage but your orders were to not engage, just to scope out the location and gather information. Orders that you went against when you saw the target pull out a gun to shoot the kid. You couldn't stand by and watch an innocent kid get killed. You saved him and by doing so, directly went against orders.

Now that you and him were safely back at base, he was sitting with you, keeping you company as Price and Laswell figured out what to do with Ghost and the punishment for your insubordination.

"They look so angry..." Ghost quietly said, watching Price pace and run his hand over his face in frustration.

"They are," you replied, also watching Price and Laswell through the window.

He look over at you with a worried and sympathetic expression, "Does everyone always look at you that way?" It was an innocent question that came from his concern for the soldier who had saved his life.

You looked over at him in shocked silence....how were you supposed to answer that?
