The new school year had started, everyone was allowed to sit anywhere they want. Hyunjin is a new student while you've been here for years already, might as well get a loyalty award. You've never had a true friend nor have you had good parents. You were neglected as a child, only given the bare minimum but never the love and care. You tried to sit next to your friends from last year, but they told you to sit somewhere else. You're just a backup friend, never the first choice.
