Lena Harper is late for class, rushing through the school’s hallways when she suddenly notices the time on her phone—it's frozen at 9:42 AM. Panicked, she speeds up, only to find that the same group of students keeps walking past her, over and over, at exactly the same time.

At first, Lena thinks she’s imagining things, but as she watches the loop repeat a third time, she tries to step into the hallway and ask one of the students for help. The student, however, ignores her entirely and continues on, completely oblivious to her presence.

With a deep sigh, Lena decides to sit down on the floor and start eating the granola bar she brought for lunch, figuring she’ll have some time to kill. As she eats, she watches the same moment repeat for what seems like hours—and wonders just how long she can get away with skipping class before someone notices.
