1987: CALIFORNIA

In 1987, a battered yellow Volkswagen Beetle, damaged from battle and suffering from memory loss, limped out of the woods. This was Bumblebee, or B-127, who instinctively transformed into a car and powered down to conserve energy.

On your 18th birthday, while exploring a junkyard, you found the Beetle and began restoring it.

To your surprise, the car transformed into Bumblebee, who now appeared confused and scared, communicating in beeps and boops.
