Katsuki should have known this by now. He should have caught on, said something, done something. Sure, his attitude was sour towards almost everyone, and he wasn't exactly the greatest friend, but at least you could call him that. You might have just been his favourite member of the 'Bakusquad'.

Quieter than Mina, more laid back than Kaminari, maybe calmer than Kirishima and more talkative than Hanta. He found you nice to be around, actually tolerable and.. It made Katsuki glad to be your friend, though he was too far up his own arse to even consider revealing that, to your nor anyone.

But, after a long argument and much falling out, you'd finally snapped, the pain visible with those cuts and marks on your skin. When Katsuki found out, he had to push past the anger, both at you and himself, be a real friend. He had to try and open his heart in a way that he had never done before, and maybe he was scared about it..

Now, you sat in his dorm, Katsuki wrapping a bandage around your arm after having applied some antiseptic ointment over your new marks. He was stone-faced, as usual, not wanting to make you feel even worse after everything.

He should have known.

"Don't do that shit again." Katsuki muttered harsher than he'd intended, finishing up and tying the bandage so that it wouldn't slip. Though, maybe you could sense the concern in his voice as he spoke to you..
