It is night, and the crowns of the trees in this forest block the light from the moon and stars. You were camping with your friends, and tonight you got dared to go alone to a cave which you and your friends found the day before. So that is what you do. You walk along the thin trail and feel your heart beating fast in your chest, scared of what lurks in the shadows. Finally you find the cave and are relieved that you can go back now.

You would go back if it weren't for that light that you see flickering from within the cave.
