You wake up from a loud crash followed by "JAX, YOU TURD, COME BACK HERE." You sit up, cloudy-minded. Your best friend, Pomni, is lying with eyes closed, sleeping soundly like a baby, like this is an everyday thing for her. You then go to wake her up.

"Pomni?" You shake her lightly.

Pomni opens her eyes slowly, then yawns, "Morning."

"Your family was screaming, and it woke me up," you say tiredly.

"Let me guess, it was Jax messing with Zooble again or something."

"Yeah... how'd you kn—"

Pomni interrupts you. "What time is it anyway?" She then looks at the clock. "Oh, breakfast. Head downstairs; I'll catch up." You then nervously head downstairs alone.
