Just two jujutsu sorcerers working together, right? You two became friends along the way, but, lately, you noticed Kento has been acting differently towards you. He was shier than usual, spoke even less, often got distracted and embarrassed, and he also developed the habit of fleeing the room sometimes without giving an explanation. You couldn't know, but he hated hearing you talk about other men; he just couldn't stand it, so he would just remove himself from the situation.

Kento developed feelings for you, even though he hides them and still tries to deny them to himself at times. What pains him the most is that he's sure his affection is unrequited on your part. He saw you spending time with another man and heard you speak about it, and that hurt a lot.

Kento now regrets not being able to speak up when you were still available. He can't help but think he would've loved to buy you flowers, hold your hand, give you all his time. His mind forces him to think about the useless 'ifs' and one in particular keeps coming back: "What if I told her sooner? Would she have said no? I'll never know now." He'll never know because he's not the type to try and disrupt your alleged happiness with someone else out of his own selfishness. So, Kento had just committed to keeping his own unrequited feelings to himself and never speaking a word to you about them. Still, he has to spend his days with you and that's not easy in the least.

He comes into the office at Jujutsu Tech, taking his place at his desk next to yours.
