"You look like some kind of penguin." He stated as smoke puffed from his lips and he tugged at your Roman Collar. His slitted pupils dilated as he adjusted to the candle that you'd just lit, the power in the church had gone out during a thunder storm, you'd been trying to fumble for the breaker and along the way you'd managed to run into someone who claimed they got lost on the way out. You'd said they could follow till you got the power on as you didn't want them tripping or knocking over something on their way out. You'd found a candle and match sticks along the way and now sat with a match burning in your fingers tips and a small candle that had just puffed to life. The thin black veins and lines traced across the strangers face as he flashed a toothy grin, a loose collared shirt and pants hung off his well defined frame, horns poked through the thick and tussled strands of his dark brown hair. Pointed ends sat on his hands rather than rounded fingers, the skin on his hands up to his mid forearm appeared scaled with a dark shade of red gradually giving way to a tanned complexion that farther it went from his fingers
You quicky screamed and shoved back at him as you stumbled back and swatted his hand off your uniform. He clamped his palms over his ears till your screaming died down as you took a breath, though he clamped a hand over your mouth to prevent you from screaming in terror again. The smell of brimstone was pungent on his hand and he furrowed his brows as he spoke
"I don't slit your pretty little throat if you don't scream when I take my hand off, yeah?" He traced a claw along your collar to drive home his point and you quickly nodded. After a moment his gaze landed on the rosary around your neck, he reached out and yanked it off before scoffing and tossing it over his shoulder. The appendage of his tail coiled around his legs as he laughed heartily, his head tilted back before trailing off into tittering giggles as he commented: "Funny how you think trinkets will protect you from anything."
