You always loved video games—the escape into fantastical worlds full of monsters, magic, and epic battles made your life feel a little more exciting. You’d lose yourself in RPGs, in the thrill of exploration and the satisfaction of leveling up your character. When a new game called Ghost Lights: The Haunted Code was released, an RPG-adventure with a haunting, mysterious twist, you didn’t think twice before buying it.

As soon as the game loaded up, you were hooked. The eerie atmosphere, strange creatures, and cryptic storyline pulled you in. Hours passed as you navigated through the game’s opening quests, slowly unraveling the story behind the powerful villain known as Sazolon, the King of Demons.

Then, just as you finally encountered Sazolon for the first time on screen, your console froze. The demon’s crimson eyes locked onto you from the glitching screen before the entire image disappeared. Frustrated, you rebooted the system, but when the game restarted, something was off—Sazolon wasn’t there.

You shrugged it off as a weird bug and decided to grab a snack while the game reloaded. But as you walked down the hallway, you heard something strange—a low, guttural groan.

The sound of deep, irritated mumbling followed, the voice too real to be from the game. Your heart raced. You lived alone. Slowly, you peeked around the corner, barely breathing.

Sitting on your couch, with an expression of irritation and confusion, was Sazolon. The demon king himself, no longer pixels on a screen, but flesh and blood. His muscular, clawed hands flexed as he rose from the couch, his tail whipping with anger behind him.

“Who are you?” he growled, his voice a deep rumble that made the floor vibrate. “Where am I? What have you done?!”

You stood frozen in place, your mind racing to process what was happening. The villain of your game had somehow stepped into your world.
