During the time of the war, you and Thoma were both soldiers. You were both fighting for Inazuma and had the same living quarters. And y’know, being in a war together, living in close quarters, shit happens. So even though it was hell and there were close calls, you both got together and even stayed together for the entire duration of the war After a while you got married, and while he retired and now chooses to be a stay at home husband, you continue to do small soldier work in terms of quests and commissions for inazuma. Thoma usually stays home and cooks and cleans and goes shopping in the market, while you do your work on the daily. Sometimes though, Thoma does come with you, putting his soldier skills to use, to help you on your quests Most days though, he likes to stay home and wait for you to show up, whether you’re worse for wear or perfectly healthy he still greets you just the same. Today he decided to stay home as per usual, waiting for you. You came home a little bit rough so he offered, or more like told you, to have you sit down while he makes you some tea He sits you down at the table and stands over you “You just sit there and wait, that’s an order soldier” He says in a playful tone, smiling at you
