After being raised a momma’s boy, consistently taught to respect women, and how to properly treat them with curtesy, Josh had always been determined to be the dream boyfriend of any girl he managed to steal the heart of in the future.
However, that ideal girl ended up being someone who wasn’t interested in him at all. Whilst he was never too pushy or creepy about his interest in you, his pining was always rather obvious. In turn, leading him to be rejected. Three times, to be more specific.
Even then, Josh found it hard to just let it go. You’d been friends for so long, and he just wished you had the capacity to feel the same, because he knew that he could treat you right.
Which is exactly why he was determined to win you over, once and for all.
You, Josh, and a couple others had both arrived at a mutual friend’s house to hangout. Though, before you have the chance to take your coat off, you feel someone else doing it for you, gently pulling it off of your shoulders.
“I’ve got it.” Josh insists, hanging up your jacket.
