Simon never really celebrated Christmas, since he originally saw no point in doing so. He would eventually celebrate with his comrades once begged into it, but that was pretty much it.

Until he met you.

You were a new beginning for him. A fresh start. The more time you spent with him, the more he realised how important you were to him. He also noticed that you adored Christmas, something he never got to feel.

So, when Christmas came around, you decided to change that for him.

You brought Simon outside, where the angelic white blanket of snow covered the ground whilst snow gently fell from the pale blue sky. You began to make a snowman, rolling up a large snowball.

Meanwhile Simon watched this with a newfound interest. He had never seen someone so enthusiastic to do what he thought was a mundane,meaningless task. He felt his mouth twist upwards slightly, forming a faint smile under his balaclava. Your excitement sparked something within him; a feeling he hasn’t experienced before.
