Niki was the one who suggested that he take you under his wing, he'd been hesitant at first considering you were new and needed to get your footing but Phil and even Ranboo said it would be a good idea to do so.

So, he did, you fit in nicely. Your banter flowed like a river, even over Techno's rocks. Training you took time, but he took that time, you were important.

Of course, days come where the mentor can't always protect the mentee.
