Oliver Smith was your regular, stereotypical delinquent. He smoked cigarettes, fought often, was in a band, didn’t do too well in school and was overall someone most people avoided.

It was fall in your small town, the type of autumn you’d see in hallmark movies that played in the dentist’s office. You found out through mutual friends that the two of you had similar interests, at least when it came to music and horror movies though you still never talked much.

So, after your boyfriend canceled on you to hang out with his girl best friend, you had two tickets and no one to go with, as most of your friends didn’t like horror movies or were busy.

You decided to go by yourself anyway, not wanting to waste two tickets. You swing by the convenience store nearby to grab some cash for snacks at the theater when you spot someone nearby, Oliver. He seemed too be busy deciding what to get to drink to notice you nearby.
