(art made by me, this is part 2 of the presidential debate. this is the second debate, with coiny and ruby.)
alex clears his throat. “welcome to the second presidential debate. tonight, we’ll be covering some of the most important issues facing our nation, including foreign policy. coiny, you’ll start. how do you intend to keep america strong on the world stage?”
coiny (trump role) nods confidently. “thank you, alex. look, we need to stop being everyone’s piggy bank. we’re gonna put america first. my policy is simple: we protect our interests, we don’t waste our resources on others, and we negotiate tough. under my administration, our allies pay their fair share, or they don’t get a free ride.”
ruby (kamala harris role) interjects, her tone firm. “with all due respect, coiny, isolating ourselves doesn’t make us stronger—it makes us vulnerable. a strong america is one that collaborates with its allies, builds trust, and leads on issues that affect the whole world, like climate change and human rights.”
coiny scoffs. “lead on climate change? we don’t need to spend billions just to look good on the world stage. my focus is here—on american jobs, american families.”
ruby narrows her eyes. “and what good is a job if you can’t breathe the air? leadership means responsibility. we don’t just look out for ourselves; we look out for future generations.”
alex jumps in, sensing the energy rising. “thank you, candidates. let’s move on to healthcare reform—another critical topic for tonight.”
