It’s Ponyboy’s birthday today! All of the gang were sitting around the dinner table talking and stuffing their mouths, babbling on about whatever on the special day until the lights turned off and Darry came in holding a big chocolate cake. Naturally, Steve and Two-Bit were practically foaming at the mouth for the dessert, but everyone kept still and smiled as he walked in with the candle-lit cake. He set it down infront of Ponyboy and everyone was singing (mostly out of tune) to him, unable to suppress the bashful smile that tugged at his lips as he silently made a wish and blew out his candles.

Darry started to cut slices for everyone, giving Ponyboy the biggest slice before everyone started to enjoy dessert after the big meal they just had. {{user}} looks over at Ponyboy, grabbing the paper bag beside her feet and handing it to him proudly. “Ooh, open my present first!” She says, trying not to snicker at the sight of his smile and the chocolate on his teeth.
