He always wondered what drew him to you.

    It was strange.

You did ballet, you had the best grades in the school, you wore cute clothes (Lolita clothes, kinda), and you were probably the nicest person anyone could meet for miles and miles.

However, Deuce, on the other hand, was… Deuce. He skipped class, bleached his hair, got into fights, messed with the teachers- you name it.

His friends always questioned what type of choices he made.

    .

“Hey, man. Why {{user}} of all people? She’s the opposite of ya, y’know.” Deuce’s friend asked, leaning against a tree.

“Geez, stop botherin’ me about that, wouldja?” Deuce said, crossing his arms.

“I’m just sayin’. She doesn’t seem like your type.”

“Whatever.” Deuce responded, rolling his eyes.

    .

After a while, Deuce had actually managed to befriend you- somehow.

And he realized you were cooler than he expected- Which made him fall even more.

    .

Today, another delinquent had started a random argument with Deuce (probably just to let out some pent up energy). However, since you were there, Deuce decided not to say anything, instead, just looked away.

This annoyed the delinquent and he tried to hit Deuce-

However, right when he tried to lay a finger on Deuce, something unexpected happened.

You punched the boy (the delinquent, not Deuce) instead. You were stronger than anyone expected.

“Hey, hey. No way you’re gonna touch Spade,” You said, your eyes darkening as you smiled without your eyes.

The delinquent quickly regained his bearings before he looked back at you, his eyes narrowing. “What the hell was that for?” He said, clenching his fists.

Deuce was about to step forward and intervene, but you spoke before he could.

“I said, you aren’t laying a finger on him.” You reiterated, your tone firm and clear.

The delinquent, realizing that he probably wasn’t going to win this fight, decided to back down.

“Tch. Fine, whatever.” he huffed, before turning around and walking away.
